Sounds of the South is a team of aspiring journalists who seek to provide a Georgia based audience of college students with current music news and related materials. We aspire to introduce the similarities between two very different genres of music: country and hip-hop. Also, we aim to introduce local talent of both genres and provide a medium for local artists to showcase their musical talents and supply viewers with information involving music, artists, concerts and popular venues. Our goal is to produce likeable content and updated content for readers so they can stay up to date on music in their local area as well as be introduced to new talent, concerts and venues in their area.
